We hope you all had a restful Easter weekend! Let's get into today's edition of Behind The Curtains.

As a small independent brand, we don't release new watches with the same velocity as many of our larger peers. Designing a new watch is time consuming and costly, and we want to make sure that we're giving our full time and attention to each new release.

When we set out to design the Retter 22, it was a two-year process from ideation to conception. That involved setting out a network of reliable suppliers, reaching out to media and press outlets, and setting up our own infrastructure to efficiently process orders.

Mistral’s launch last summer was nearly 2 years after the original launch of the 22. During that time, we deepened our relationship with our key suppliers and sought out new relationships with more technical component suppliers, including creating a pipeline for our own movement customizations.

While these processes are time-consuming, they are incredibly rewarding to witness your reactions to the culmination of years of effort during a new release. However, as we’re hard at work on our next release, we often operate without truly understanding what you, the enthusiasts and collectors, truly want.

We’d like to invite you all to share your feedback and thoughts on how we can continue creating great watches. We’ve discarded numerous design and colorway options internally, and we’d love to hear from you all during this process. To facilitate this, we’re organizing a focus group for collectors and enthusiasts, where you’ll have the opportunity to view exclusive renderings of unreleased projects and provide your valuable feedback.

Thank you all for your support and interest, and feel free to reach out to us with any questions!
