Introducing Retter Watches' debut timepiece — 22.
When we set out to design our first watch, we knew exactly what we wanted; a well-rounded timepiece that could handle anything life could throw at it.
Tribute to a legend.
The bracelet on the Retter 22 features elongated hexagonal center links and tapers from 21mm to 17mm. The edges are hand-polished and the top surfaces are brushed using a water-brushing method. The '22' nomer comes from both the launch year of Retter Watches, and celebrates the brilliance of Jörg Hysek's masterpiece.
The harmony of utility and elegance.
22's dial was designed with utility and elegance in mind. Two colors were chosen, Frost White and Lapis Blue, for their versatility and readability. The high-contrast text and the brightly lumed SuperLuminova X1 indices and markers allow for superb legibility. Light dances off the polished applied markers, date window and hands, and adds a hint of elegance.
Preserving Swiss tradition.
22 is powered by a Swiss-made Sellita SW400, which features a 38-hour power reserve and an enlarged date window. While 22 was designed and engineered in New York, select manufacturing, final assembly and regulation are done by our partners in Neuchâtel, Switzerland.
