We're reviving this series, and we hope to be more consistent with our posts this year.
We wanted to take a moment to reflect on our biggest year to date. In 2024, we traveled to Geneva to meet with our suppliers several times, hosted in-person collectors/launch events, and launched our flagship dress watch, Mistral. We're already almost a month into 2025, but we wanted to take some time to reflect anyways.
Crucial to our success this year were the new relationships we established with our manufacturing partners. Small microbrands are often constrained in the level of technical innovation they can pack into a budget-limited watch — a lot of this comes down to the difficulty of manufacturing and micro-engineering, particularly in small batches.
Through our Geneva trips last year, we were able to partner with a series of manufacturers who are as motived to create something special as we are, and ambitious enough to help us create novel case structures and movement modifications.
These partnerships allowed us to create Mistral, our take on the dress watch. Mistral is one of the thinnest watches in its class, made possible by the unique case architecture and our ultra-thin movement, Cal. 2105, based on the ETA 7001. We also utilized precious metals like gold and silver on the dial, a first for us.
Working with Jean-Rousseau on the straps was also a great achievement for our brand — we’re grateful to be working with one of the most renowned strap makers in the industry, and their support was crucial to Mistral. We’ve heard from many of our customers who’ve been enjoying their watches, and we’re using what we’ve learned for future iterations planned for 2025.
Looking ahead to the coming months, we’re planning to build on the Mistral line with new complications and color ways. We’re also continuing to work with our talented partners to create new, innovative movement modifications and playing to our strength of creating watches that punch above their weight class.
We’re so grateful to all of you for all your support, and we’re so excited to continue sharing our progress with you in the coming months. We’ll be sharing more regular updates via this blog, and we’ll see you all soon.
